The District Training Assembly is a chance for club officers, committee chairs and assistant governors to further develop leadership skills and refine strategies to achieve their goals. All Rotarians who accept key club leadership roles are encouraged to attend the District Training Assembly.  

Training assemblies like this are the best way to help your club be even more successful in 2016-17. Attendees will discover tips to take our Clubs and District to the next level. Breakout sessions are planned for:

  • Club Presidents
  • Club Treasurers
  • Club Secretaries
  • Foundation Committee – including Grant Management Seminar*
  • Membership Committee
  • Service Project Committee
  • Public Relations Committee
  • Administration Committee

In addition, the general sessions will share:

  • Tips from your counterparts in other clubs
  • Best practices for growing your club
  • Ways to move your club toward the New Rotary
  • Networking secrets to attract folks to Rotary
  • Ways to get a visitor to return to your club within 30 days
  • How to find any Rotarian in only four clicks
  • Easy tech tips using your smart phone
  • Lessons from last summer's $100,000 Beach Boys fundraiser

Register for this important event today! Registration fee of $20 includes continental breakfast and lunch. Make sure to bring your laptop or ipad to this event so you can take notes and participate in the interactive demonstrations. 

*The District Training Assembly includes the Grant Management Seminar that your club must have in order to apply for Rotary grant money in the coming year. Two of your officers must sign this document at District Assembly.
