Rotary District 6380, includes 53 SE Michigan and SW Ontario member clubs of Rotary International, a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service and encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, announced that all nine High School Interact Clubs, earned Rotary International Presidential Citation Awards this past year.
 
The recipients of the Presidential Citation awards were:
  • Rochester High School Interact Club of Rochester, MI
  • Stoney Creek High School Interact Club of Rochester, MI
  • ACE High School Interact Club, of Rochester, MI
  • Adams High School Interact Club, of Rochester, MI
  • Howell High School Interact Club of Howell, MI
  • Huron High School Interact Club of Ann Arbor, MI
  • Pioneer High School Interact Club of Ann Arbor, MI
  • Livingston Sunrise Interact Club of Brighton, MI
  • Tilbury High School Interact Club of Tilbury, Ont, Canada
 
 
“The Presidential Citation award is Rotary’s attempt to define the characteristics of a successful and growing Interact Club. Only about 20% of the Interact Clubs active in 120 countries around the world, earn this Presidential Citation by inspiring positive change thereby improving their communities.” Wayne Hodges, Rotary District 6380 Interact Director  said.
 
The awards were presented to the students during their respective Interact Club meetings from September 19 through October 19, 2016..
