The 2024-2025 District 6380 Governor Nominating Committee met to select a District Governor for 2027-2028. After candidate interviews and thoughtful deliberations, the Committee has selected a District Governor Nominee Designate.Rotarian Renee Roberts of the Rotary Club of West Bloomfield has been chosen to serve as District Governor of Rotary International District 6380 for 2027-2028.
Renee Roberts has served as a Rotarian since 2017 and has made highly valuable contributions to her Club and the District during her tenure. She is a Certified Financial Planner and business owner who finds time to volunteer in her community, including as Dazzle the Clown. Ms. Roberts has served as Club President and as an Assistant Governor. Renee is an inaugural member of the multi-district Peace Committee. She has received numerous honors including the Rotary District 6380 Women in Rotary award. This year, she has served as the District Engagement Officer and as Co-Chair of the Foundation Dinner Committee. She brings great passion to service above self.
Renee Roberts will hold the title of District Governor Nominee Designate (DGND) during
2024-2025. She then will assume the title of District Governor Nominee (DGN) serving as the DGN for 2025-2026, the District Governor Elect for 2026-27, and the District Governor for 2027-2028.
Today’s announcement will begin a 15-day period of publication for input and challenge prior to formal notification of Renee’s selection to Rotary International.
