Happy Birthday Rotary
Rotary was founded on February 23, 1905 and in the years since then, Rotarians around the World have improved the lives of others both locally and globally.   One of our Greatest accomplishments has been the inception of the Polio Plus campaign in 1988.  Rotarians along with our partners have reduced the number of polio cases by 99.9%.  We have vaccinated over 2.5 Billion Children.   Can you imagine how many lives we have saved?   However, our work is not done.  We promised the children of the world a polio free world and we will not disappoint them.  It will take a bit more time and yes, a bit more money.  Your Club and your individual donations to the polio fund are critically needed now that we are in the home stretch.  We cannot become complacent.  We must continue full steam ahead until every child is vaccinated against polio and we have a zero case count!  Please consider celebrating Rotary’s Birthday with an activity to recognize the # 1 Humanitarian Cause of Rotary.  I can’t wait to see what you do!  Wishing you all a very Happy Rotary Birthday!
