Every Year, Rotary International requires a Foundation Event to acknowledge clubs and individuals who contribute in meaningful ways to support The Rotary Foundation.
The Rotary Foundation is the means by which we are able to create projects that change the world! As I like to say, "the WHY" of what we do is so much more the Inspiration, than the "what" of what we do.
Why do we contribute? We help to to provide clean water and sanitation so mothers and children are healthier through disease prevention (End Polio Now) and treatment. Children are much more likely to participate in education, which helps build economies that are all precursors to peace.
I invite you to enjoy a fun evening to socialize with other Rotarians and find out their "whys" for supporting the Foundation and to cheer on people and clubs that have stepped up and done more than the "usual".
Rotarians are ordinary people who unite to create extraordinary results!
