Mount Clemens Rotary

The Mount Clemens Rotary Club supported a scholarship fundraising golf outing held annually in honor of the late former club resident Dick Pierson. The rain stopped long enough for a team including Bob Cannon, Brian Girard and Scott Chabot to win and have their names engraved on the circulating trophy. The weather cooperated beautifully however for a recent board meeting on the waterfront. The club is fortunate to have access to lovely Lake St. Clair and other waterways. Several service clubs participated in the downtown Mount Clemens annual soapbox derby and grand prix. The Rotary club sponsored a car and helped the Mount Clemens Lions Club with its event that raises awareness and money for causes in the greater Mount Clemens area.
