How to Order a Peace Pole
 
Step 1:  Choose Your Languages
Identify the 4 or 8 languages that are spoken most in your community (depending on the size pole you’re ordering).  Each Peace Pole includes a translation of May Peace Prevail on Earth in the 4 or 8 languages of your choice.
 
Finding Languages for your Peace Pole
Select Geography type:  city, county, zip code   
Select State:  Michigan
Select Place:  city, county, or zip codes for your area
Press Get Data Profile Links
Select Social characteristics
On next screen, enter B16001 in the SEARCH at the top, then select:
Languages Spoken at Home by Ability to Speak English for the Population 5 yrs and Older
Use the data given on the same line as the Language, e.g. English, Spanish, etc.
Choose the most popular languages for your area to use on the Peace Pole.
 
Step 2:  Order from the Peace Pole Project website:
2) Click on Peace Pole - Classic White with 4 or 8 Languages
3) Size Is 7' White with 4 or 8 languages (choose the languages most commonly spoken in your community)
4) Select Rotary Logo, Unity Flag
5) Also add a dedication for the Certification, for example:  Dedicated to the people of Anchor Bay by Anchor Bay Rotary Club
6) Add to Cart and Order
 
The 4 Language Peace Pole is $275 / 8 Language Peace Pole $325
    + $20 for Rotary logo, $20 for rainbow unity flag decal, $20 for brass braille plate, + $45 shipping (4-6 weeks)

Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony Info:

Ongoing Peace Pole Activities
 
Hold a quarterly, annual, etc. meeting around your Peace Pole
  1. to discuss topics (e.g., how to achieve peace in our hearts, communities, in daily relationships with others)
  2. to pray for Peace in troubled areas and throughout the world
  3. to meditate, sing, or read inspirational material
  4. to add a pollinator garden and/or butterfly bench
 
Consider a Rededication Ceremony on the International Day of Peace, Earth Day, Season of Non-violence, Black History Month, Flag Day, Diversity Week, anniversary of your Peace Pole’s planting date, etc.
