You are warmly invited to join our next Rotary Book Club selection as we read:

I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai.

This inspiring memoir tells the remarkable story of Malala’s courageous advocacy for education and equality, her resilience in the face of adversity, and her unwavering belief that one person can make a difference. Her message of service, peace, and opportunity aligns beautifully with Rotary’s mission of creating positive change in the world.

imageThis selection is especially timely and exciting, as Malala will be a featured speaker at the upcoming Rotary International Convention 2026 in Taipei. Reading her story together will give us a deeper appreciation of her extraordinary journey and provide meaningful context for her address to Rotarians from around the globe.

Whether you are attending the convention or simply looking to engage in thoughtful discussion and fellowship, we hope you’ll join us.

We’ll meet the first Monday of the Month at 7:00PM EST, June 1, 2026 at our usual locations:
Where: Farmington Community Library
32737 W. 12 Mile
Farmington Hills, MI 48334

Feel free to invite fellow Rotarians, family members, and friends who may enjoy this powerful and thought-provoking read.

Together, let’s explore a story that reminds us of the impact courage, education, and service can have in transforming lives.

Being a Host Family is an opportunity not only to transform the lives of young people around the world but also to enrich the hearts of every participating club.

District 6380 is preparing for the arrival of our three inbound Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) students, and we need three clubs to serve as their host clubs for the upcoming exchange cycle (August 2026 through June 2027). In addition, we are seeking host families willing to open their homes and hearts to these remarkable young people.

With great pride, District 6380 congratulates Roma Murthy on her nomination as District Governor Nominee Designate for Rotary District 6380 for the 2028–2029 Rotary year.
